Information regarding data processing across the log.cam mobile apps, the web interface at ui.log.cam, and backend cloud infrastructure.

2. Data we process
- Account and sign-in: Email address, optional display name, preferred language, subscription plan, balance, sign-in sessions and device identifiers.
- User-generated content: Meeting records, voice memos, ideas, projects, transcripts, AI summaries, tasks and shared items.
- Audio, voice & attachments: Audio recordings, optional voice recognition profiles, uploaded documents and images.
- Device & push tokens: Operating system platform, language locale, Firebase push tokens for real-time alerts (if enabled).
- Security & diagnostics: IP addresses in audit/security logs, timestamps, error diagnostics and background job queues.
- Billing details: Plan status, prepaid credit balance, transaction ledgers and PayPal references (payment credentials are handled directly by PayPal).
- Optional integrations: If connected to Microsoft 365: account email, secure OAuth tokens and permissions for calendar and tasks.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Providing, syncing and securing your account and application features: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
- Processing audio notes, AI transcriptions and summaries at your explicit command: Art. 6(1)(b) and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
- IT infrastructure security, fraud prevention and service stability: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
- Legal and accounting retention requirements: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
4. Device permissions
log.cam requests permissions only when required to fulfill a specific user request:
- Microphone: To capture meeting audio and quick voice memos.
- Camera: To scan QR authentication codes and take optional photos.
- Bluetooth: To discover and connect external conference microphones.
- Files & storage: To attach files and documents to your meetings.
Permissions can be revoked at any time within your device operating system settings.
5. AI & transcription services
To provide transcription and summaries, log.cam connects to selected AI providers (such as Google Cloud Speech / Gemini, OpenAI or Anthropic). Data is transmitted only when you trigger a recording transcription. Your data is not sold or used to train public foundation models.
6. No advertising trackers
log.cam operates on a paid subscription and prepaid model. We do not integrate advertising trackers, ad networks, or commercial analytics SDKs. We do not sell your personal data.
7. Account deletion & user rights
You can permanently delete your log.cam account along with all meetings, ideas, transcripts and attachments at any time:
- Inside the app: Settings → Delete account permanently
- Or without logging in via our public page: account-deletion.html
